Artisan Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
- 30 grams of butter
- 30 grams of plain flour
- 600 ml of semi-skimmed JUST MILK
- 200 grams Entremont Comte cheese
- 200 grams Entremont Emmental cheese
- 500 grams of cooked penne pasta
- Breadcrumbs
- Grated parmesan
- Side salad
Method
- Melt 30 grams of butter
- Stir in 30 grams of plain flour until a smooth paste
- Cook for 2 minutes on a low heat
- Add 600 ml of semi-skimmed JUST MILK and whisk in gradually until thickened
- Simmer & stir for 3 mins
- Sprinkle 200 grams Entremont Comte cheese and 200 grams Entremont Emmental cheese
- Season, simmer & stir for 3 mins
- In 500 grams of cooked penne pasta and pour into baking dish
- Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and grated parmesan
- Bake at 180c for 30 mins or until brown
- Serve with side salad and Bon Appetit!
