Crème Brûlée
Ingredients
- 200ml JUST MILK
- 1 vanilla pod
- 8 egg yolks
- 150g caster sugar
- 600ml thick cream
- Brown sugar
Method
- Gently bring JUST MILK to the boil in a pan
- Add vanilla, and leave to infuse for half an hour at room temperature before removing
- Beat eggs together with sugar until mixture is stiff and white
- Add vanilla milk and cream. Share out into individual ramequins
- Cook for an hour in a cool oven at 110°C
- Sprinkle with brown sugar, then caramelise under the grill
- Serve warm
